About Natalia Foley

Registered Associate Marriage & Family Therapist, AMFT #137037
Supervised by Eve Sturges, MA, LMFT #103942
  • Natalia Foley is an immigrant who came to the United States in 1999, in search of a better future for herself and her son.

Even though Natalia Foley was able to succeed in the Soviet Union as an actress, writer and journalist, she was not willing to silently comply with the totalitarian regime of the USSR, (the deprivation of freedom of speech and the violations of basic human rights). Natalia wrote one of the very first books in Russia supporting the LGBT community, she fearlessly exposed government corruption, collusion of government officials with mafia bosses, and was eventually forced to leave her motherland for her own safety.

  • She left behind many difficult and traumatic experiences, such as war, betrayal, and the loss of significant people in her life.

Natalia came to America and had to start everything from ground zero, learning to love America and to appreciate all of the opportunities available to her here. Natalia never stopped studying. Natalia Foley has a law degree and passed the California Bar exam, she has a Master’s in counseling psychology, and is currently working on her doctoral degree in counseling psychology.

  • Natalia has discovered her life purpose – helping people in crisis.

Her uneasy personal life experiences, her extensive education, and her deep understanding of life’s obstacles gives Natalia the opportunity to really connect with her clients, offering them the empathy and support, precisely at the moment that they need it the most. Currently Natalia is an associate therapist, working with various populations, including bit not limited to, couples, men, women, and the LGBTQ+ community.
